Heya friends,
claude code just dropped something called channels. you can now connect it directly to telegram and discord.
i set it up in about 5 minutes. then i sent it a reel scripting task from my phone. it pulled my skills, loaded my voice docs, ran the humanizer, grabbed the transcript from a youtube video i shared, and sent me back a finished script. all inside telegram.
anthropic released the plugins open source on github. install the plugin, create a bot through botfather, pair it to your session, done.
one thing they don't tell you: their default setup is broken. the permissions mode blocks responses when you message the bot. you need to add the bypass permissions flag when you launch with channel mode or it won't answer you. i walk through the fix in the video.
once it's connected, anything you can do in claude code, you can trigger from your phone:
- translate videos into new languages
- write scripts using your custom skills
- pull youtube analytics or search console data
- push live updates to your website
- run any automation you've built
